Building Community in the Capital Region
 

Join your peers for conversation at an "Association Executive* Only" roundtable conversation.  Discuss what's keeping you awake at night with colleagues who understand what you do.
  
*This session is open to executive directors and senior association staff only.  There is no cost to attend. 
      
CalSAE Capital Region Executive Breakfasts are a place for association executives to:
- network with peers
- share ideas
- get input on your most challenging problems    
- help a peer
- learn more about what is happening in the association industry
  
The breakfast meetings are held early in the morning to permit exceedingly busy association executives to attend without cutting a large part out of their day.  Executives and senior staff of large and small associations alike are welcome.  There is no charge to attend.
  
Executive Breakfasts include a round-the-table check-in from each attendee, with each executive having the opportunity to briefly share what is happening in their respective organization.  Based on the check-in, the executives share thoughts on the issues raised.   The result frequently includes helpful, constructive input, suggested solutions, new friendships and bonds, and a little fun.   Back-up discussion topics are always available.
  
One of the benefits of this kind of meeting is that attendance is generally limited to association executives and senior staff: this is their place to share executive issues.  Attendees agree not to share topics discussed during the Executive Breakfast without the consent of the sharing executive.  On occasion, non-executives are invited, particularly when the specific expertise of a non-executive is needed. 
  
RSVP is not required, but is helpful.

Capital Region's Executive Breakfast FAQs
- Executive Breakfasts are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
- Executive Breakfasts are open to CalSAE regular members (i.e. work for an association) only.
- There are only two rules for Executive Breakfasts
      - No marketing allowed.
      - What is said in the room stays in the room.   
- Light refreshments are provided by Mark Alcorn of Alcorn & Associates

- There is no charge to attend the Executive Breakfast.
