The programs are diverse and designed to focus on various elements of association management and leadership - typically most appropriate for managers, directors, and newer C-Suite executives.

3 Strategies for Growing Your Mental Fitness ~ message from our speaker

In our first in-person CalSAE Southern CA Region gathering of 2022, please join us for an illuminating discussion. You will explore three short essays from Denice Hinden's book, Taking Leadership to the Next Level: A Year of Stimulating Essays to Discover More Joy in Leading & Inspiring Others. These essays consider how stepping up to challenges, building confidence, and being generous with thanks are cornerstones for the most influential leaders. First, Denice will launch the program with a few provocative ideas for us to consider. Then in three round table conversations and full group discussions, we will share our experiences and thoughts about each topic. Participants will leave with a greater appreciation for the belief that with leadership comes the responsibility to continuously motivate ourselves and others to do more than we think is possible.

When you register, we will email Denice's three essays to give you plenty of time to review them in advance. If you enjoy the essays and want to read more, pick up a copy of Denice's book here.

And of course, in the true spirit of CalSAE, there will be welcoming colleagues, a lovely learning space, plenty of good food, a pinch of fun, and maybe a surprise or two!

Denice is a Master Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. She currently serves on the CalSAE Board of Directors and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Task Force.
