Join us for two concurrent 2-hour education sessions followed by a networking reception at the Sacramento region’s newest civic amenity – the Museum of Science and Curiosity (MOSAC), located along the Sacramento River, just west of the downtown Railyards. MOSAC allows children and adults the ability to explore a host of STEM related activities, including water, energy, space, engineering, health, the natural environment, and more. Much of the museum is enclosed in the historic powerhouse facility and is the result of over 15 years of hard work by a dedicated group of local civic leaders and significant public and private investment. A great lesson for our organizations, that good things usually take a long time.

The world of work is forever changed when organizations were forced into working remotely. While many adjusted to the remote environment, now many orgs are navigating the nuances of how to manage a hybrid workplace. Concurrent Education Session #2: Embracing Change and Taking ACTION®  

We know change is a constant in life.  Our mindset, our outlook, and our beliefs about change can help us move forward or keep us in a continual state of struggle.  While we may not have control over many life circumstances, we have complete control of our response and our focus. In this two-hour session, Patty will give us practical tools to accept change with a growth mindset and to continually cultivate our clear sense of purpose and meaning.  If you’re ready to make some changes in your life, please join us to gain practical tips for bringing more joy into your life. You will learn easy-to-use techniques for focusing on what increases your energy and gathering more of what brings you both personal and professional fulfillment. Research by Barbara Fredrickson, Brené Brown, Robert Emmons, Martin Seligman, and others pave the way for you to test and apply these strategies in your own life.
