Each year, CalSAE recognizes three members for their exceptional service to the Society and the association community. The awards are presented each spring at CalSAE's ELEVATE Annual Conference.

A typical nomination includes a paragraph or two summarizing why you believe the person deserves to be considered for the award and should address at least one of the criteria mentioned below (those who are nominated will be asked for more detailed information about the criteria).
Association Executive of the Year
Presented to the CEO of a member association, not-for-profit, AMC, or CVB who has achieved success in overall contributions to CalSAE, service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.
Geri Hayes McDonald Staff Achievement Award
Presented to a staff member of an association, charitable organization, or AMC who has achieved success in overall contributions to CalSAE, service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.
Industry Partner of the Year Award
Presented to an Industry Partner member who has achieved success in overall contributions to CalSAE, service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.

2022 CalSAE Scholarships
Elaine Rose Scholarship for Small Associations
This scholarship is awarded to a member who works for a small association and is intended to promote educational and professional growth by supporting their attendance at the ELEVATE Annual Conference. Self-nominations are encouraged.
Diversity Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a association professional (member or non-member) and is intended to promote their educational and professional growth as well as the diversity of CalSAE and the association industry. The receipient has the choice of two leadership development options: attending the ELEVATE Conference or enrollment in the Association Leadership Academy.
