Anne R. Ornelas

I've been in several roles in associations and nonprofits over the years. What I've most enjoyed is building relationships with really great people through CalSAE and ASAE. In my current role, I was forced into digital event strategy when the pandemic hit and that allowed me to expand my knowledge in new ways. Earned my DES certificate in 2020 to keep me abreast of the skills I needed to help CASSS transform. Later in 2021, I was honored with the Technology Champion award from the Association Women Technology Champions based in VA. Much of what I learned has been on the job, fly by the seat of your pants (like many others!) and it's been a great opportunity to continue to be relevant. My interests outside of work include paddleboarding and driving my 4Runner to remote hard to get to places.
